Skyworth achieves SA8000 certification
Skyworth Digital - the world’s largest STB manufacturer, and the leading provider of connected-home products and solutions has passed SA8000 certification as audited by SGS - the world’s leading independent inspection, verification, testing and certification company. 
Skyworth formally established a corporate social responsibility committee in 2019 with the specific intention of ensuring. Recently this committee formulated a detailed work-plan to validate the values of Skyworth Digital, determined by SA8000 system standards and practices. With the joint efforts of committee members and contributing stakeholders, internal audits and management support, Skyworth’s work practices were tested against the SA8000 governance structures and compliance criteria.
As a result, in September 2020, Skyworth applied for and passed the two-stage audit by SGS and duly attained SA8000 certification on November 16, 2020.
With this certification, Skyworth Digital guarantees its continuous responsibilities to provide a healthy and safe working environment for the better wellbeing of all colleagues. This represents the initiative in Skyworth Digital’s missions to make positive contributions to the environment, consumers and society at all time.
