HP44H is SKYWORTH's new generation Android TV set-top box, which is designed to improve the video Experience over home WiFi networks. As more devices are connected to the internet, the current in-home WiFi environment becomes busier and usually congested, which makes the performance of video streaming service over WiFi suffers from poor connection frequently.  

To provide better video performance, the HP44H STB has integrated the AV1, which is said able to reduce 20% of streaming video bandwidth consumption compared with the current HEVC. As an open codec, AV1 is adopted by most of the popular streaming services including Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, Apple, Facebook, Samsung, and more. 

The box also supports WiFi 6 ( 802.11ax ), the next-gen WiFi standard, which offers faster connection speed and increased signal strength, greatly reducing device interference in a congested home WiFi environment.

Except improving the performance of video experience over in-home WiFi environments, HP44H integrates with SKYWORTH STRATOS IoT solution, the new generation WiFi modules that SKYWORTH has built into the STB provides HP44H a 30% increase in coverage and connection capacity, which enables HP44H to work as a powerful home hub that supports to connect more devices for home automation.
